Congruent Triangle Performance task! Students will use geometric construction tools to design a logo for a company that has congruent triangles in it. You can have them redesign a current company logo or come up with a company and logo themselves! First semester geometry review. This product can be used to prepare students for a semester exam or to prepare for state testing at the end of the year! Each page has a "Review" half and an "Apply" half. The application questions resemble state test questions and can be completed collaboratively in groups. Topics include: **Intro to Geometry **Coordinate Geometry **Writing Linear Equations **Angle Relationships **Transversal Proofs **Transformations **Triangle Properties Answer Key Included!

Students will create a city map by following requirements for roads and buildings. Requirements include parallel and perpendicular lines, a transversal, and transversal angle relationships. The students will write the equation of each road they create then add buildings to represent the angle relationships. This activity can be scaffolded by providing a street line equation as a starting point. This includes an extended edition that incorporates midpoint and distance!

Students will practice finding the area and perimeter of shapes while designing a backyard landscape on graph paper (not included). The project can also be completed virtually using a graphing software. You can increase the rigor by requiring the shapes to have sides that do not fall on the coordinate plane and require students to use the distance formula or Pythagorean Theorem.

One pager review of the properties and relationships within circles. Includes Angle and Arc Relationships, Secant, Tangent, and Chord relationships, Arc Length and Sector Area reviews. This can be used as a review page during direct instruction, for individual review, or to review in groups. This would also be a great tool for reteaching!

Basic factoring and solving flowchart. Shows all of the options students have when it comes to basic factoring and solving and when to use each strategy. Best to use to show all option of factoring in Algebra 1 or as a review of basic factoring in Algebra 2.
