Sensory Schedule

Many students with moderate to severe disabilities have EXTENSIVE sensory needs, especially students with Autism. I have created a sensory schedule that provides these students an opportunity to engage in appropriate sensory activities to avoid inappropriate sensory overload behaviors or sensory seeking behaviors. PLEASE let me know if you have ANY questions at all! - Organized Speducator (Haley Neil)

Teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered and rooted in special education best practices, focusing on meeting each child’s individual learning, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. I use differentiated instruction, positive behavior supports, hands-on learning experiences, and individualized accommodations to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. I prioritize building strong relationships, encouraging student independence, and promoting active engagement through structured routines, visual supports, collaborative activities, and individualized learning strategies. My approach emphasizes patience, consistency, and flexibility to ensure all students can access instruction, develop confidence, and achieve meaningful growth at their own pace.
