As requested by parents, I use this daily behavior log to let parents know how their child's day went by circling either thumbs up, thumbs in the middle, or thumbs down, leaving a brief comment (I try to stay as positive as possible), and writing down what their child ate for lunch (I've had many parents ask me this, so I provided a column). House & Apartment/Condo Packet (Aligns w/Creative Curriculum Buildings Unit)
This packet aligns with Creative Curriculum's Buildings study unit but goes nicely with any unit on buildings, houses, home, about me unit as well! I used the first two pages to teach what kind of home someone lives in (house or apartment/condo). I read the book "My Home" when teaching about homes using the first two pages. Remember Why You Started
I don't know about y'all, but when I'm having an overwhelming or stressful day, I like to sit and reflect on why I became a teacher in the first place and why I continue to show up on a daily basis. This cute, one page printout (once filled out) can serve as a helpful, handy reminder about why you are doing what you're doing! I am going to put mine on my desk so I can constantly glance at it throughout the school day or whenever I need to reflect. Doing so helps soothe my soul and calms me down!
