Experience

I`ve being teaching Spanish language, culture and literature for 30 year. I taught in Elementary school, High school and university.

Teaching style

My training and best experiences in the classroom is with the communicative approach, the ability to use language in real life situations to communicate meaning in an effective way. I teach grammar, reading, listening and writing through interactive activities. I do many games, role-play activities and oral dialogues in class to facilitate language acquisition.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was awarded Teacher of the year in the Community College where I was teaching Spanish in my first teaching job. I was an AP Spanish Reader in more than ten occasions. I was a leader for the Praxis exam on ETS for future Spanish teachers.

My own education history

I went to Spain to the University of Fine Arts for 3 years. Central Michigan University for my undergraduate degree Chapman University for Teaching Credential University of Granada Spain for Masters in Language and Culture
