One-page basic lesson plans and worksheets to accompany each lesson. 16 pages in total. Topics include a theme and a read aloud book to coordinate. Each lesson has a subject, unit, PKFCC (PreK Foundation for the Common Core domains), materials, vocabulary, discussion questions, assessment suggestions, etc. Created using Microsoft Word so everything is editable. Standards can be changed to accommodate grades K, 1, etc. Different books with similar topics can be replaced to suit your lesson needs.

Pre K I Can Statements for Schedule and Flow of the Day Chart
This is a Microsoft Word document consisting of 2 pages. These I Can....statements and PKFCC Domains can be printed on Avery Labels 8163. I place the labels on index cards and put them on our Schedule/Flow of the Day chart next to the pictures of what we are doing for the day. Kids make me laugh!
Teaching style
My students enjoy hands-on learning the most. Promoting process art, using Choice boards, encouraging student voice and student choice, incorporating technology such as iPads and the Smartboard keeps little ones engaged and excited about learning. I love a pop of color as an eye-opener all over the classroom without being overly-stimulating. Each year brings new creatures for studying from tadpoles, mealworms, and caterpillars to guinea pigs and hermit crabs. I believe in developing the whole child and finding the gift in all of us. I hope to make lasting memories for my students as we support each other through learning, laughing and whatever comes our way!
