Experience

I am a Finnish Language School teacher in Lausanne, Switzerland. I teach part-time from toddlers to 11-year-olds and create TpT materials in my free time.

Teaching style

Our Finnish classes take place late in the afternoon and the kids are often tired. I love to use games, projects and anything creative to spark their interest. This spring we did a 3-minute funny news video which became a huge hit for the kids. I loved the project, learned a lot and will certainly continue with this method! It's just too much fun!

My own education history

I hold a Master of Arts (Education) from the University of Helsinki. Ask me about the Finnish school system and I'll be happy to tell you everything I know!
