Young children find the concept of time very difficult. In this unit the students will move from the wide concept of time over years, months and days to telling the time via analogue and digital clocks. They will use stories and games to help this understanding.
Everyone has a birthday and young students delight in their special day being recognized. This unit provides activities and learning across the curriculum. You will find activities and handouts for English Language Arts, number sense, fractions, measurement, patterning, data management.
