At my school students need to get 80% right on each part of the quiz or they are given remedial instruction right away until hopefully they master

On the Number Bond and Subtraction Sentence template with the cubes, cross out some of the cubes for each problem. Copy this worksheet and have the children write number bonds and subtraction sentences to correspond with the cubes. Emphasize that the greatest number must be written first in a subtraction sentence.

Keep track of either the Summer or Winter U. S. Olympic Medals count by filling in a circle for each medal earned on one of the 4 graphs I made.
I have space for 30 of each medal on the Winter Olympic graph. I have space for 50 of each medal on the Summer Olympic graph. I used past Olympic medal totals as a guide to how many circles I made for medals. In the Summer Olympics 2016, the U. S. earned 46 gold medals, 37 medals silver, and 38 bronze medals.

At the beginning of the year I send home the Word-to Know list for units 1-3 in their Homework Help Folder and then units 4-6 at the beginning of the second semester.
I also send home the Words-to-Know list at the end of each unit for the parents to review with their child before I test their child over those words.
Some of my parents really appreciate having these word lists at home to review and even like to work ahead with their child.
