Pannulla Calculus

Having experience specifically teaching Advanced Placement Calculus AB/BC, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, Algebra 1, and Pre-Algebra, I am a continuous student of the world of mathematics. I have been teaching full time for four years now but have had the privilege of educating in an environment that challenges and pushes me every single day. I am currently posted at a prominent private, college preparatory high school in Pennsylvania but also have experience working in the public school system as well as at the university level as a teacher's assistant for a business calculus class.

My goal is for every student in my classroom to experience a consistent level of comfortability by creating an environment centered on community. I strive for my students to feel as if they belong in the class and are surrounded by those who are willing to help. With this accomplished, I am able to challenge each student passed their perceived limits with the development of a strong foundation followed by interesting problems that show true applications of mathematics. I am consistently working towards maximizing differentiated instruction so each student's learning style is highlighted. With a mixture of direct instruction and cooperative learning experiences, my students gain opportunities to enhance their intrapersonal and interpersonal communication.

An avid runner, camper, and martial artist, my mantra is to always be aware of how much I still have to learn. The beginning years of my professional career have been incredibly enlightening. A life of education has shown me that I can learn just as much from my students and they can from me. I am also involved in my school as the Mathematics Curriculum Coordinator, the Mathletes club moderator, and the assistant cross country and track & field coach .
