Welcome! My name is Courtney Jenkins, and I am proud to hold dual certification in both general education and special education for grades K-6. With 2.5 years of experience as a 3rd-grade teacher and nearly 8 years dedicated to teaching in a self-contained special education classroom, I have developed a deep passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment. ***UPDATED***This is a behavior calendar set up for each month of the school year. This goes with the color chart system (purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red). Each month has a legend with numbers 1-11 and what each number represents, so the teacher can just put a number on the day the student goes home on yellow, orange, or red. For example, 1= I was out of my seat, 2=I was talking out of turn, etc. This saves space for having to explain to parents as to why their child was on yellow,

AR ZPD Bookmarks

I created these and each time I STAR test my students and their ZPD changes I change them on the bookmark. I laminate the bookmarks and use a sharpie to change their ZPD ranges. Each student will have 3 each, one that stays in my small group basket, one to keep at their desk or in their book, and one to send home to help parents stay informed.

The label are editable to fit your needs. They are 2.5" X 3.5" rectangles. I used them for a field trip for my class. This is for a class set of 18. I printed these name labels on cardstock and slid them in name badges, that I found at my local Wal-Mart.

This includes a library pass, girls and boys bathroom pass. I printed one library pass on pink cardstock and one on blue cardstock, then I laminated both, so that one boy and one girl could go to the library when they needed to. I did the same with the bathroom passes.
