Welcome! My name is Courtney Jenkins, and I am proud to hold dual certification in both general education and special education for grades K-6. With 2.5 years of experience as a 3rd-grade teacher and nearly 8 years dedicated to teaching in a self-contained special education classroom, I have developed a deep passion for fostering an inclusive learning environment. I am committed to supporting students with various exceptionalities, and I find great fulfillment in helping each child reach their unique potential. I created this to help keep data on the progress students make when they are struggling with identifying the beginning, middle and ending sounds of a word. I plan to have the students fill in their own graphs as they master each picture from the area they have as a goal and have a reward for each time they meet their goal.
