30 task cards at 3 ability levels for calculating the volume of 3D prisms.
Since January 2015, I’ve been teaching mathematics in addition to science. An experienced maths teacher observed me using these task cards with a class and she said that she thought the students loved using these cards. She said the students could work at their own level and focus on one task at a time.
The first 10 focus on cuboids.
The next 10 are triangular prisms and cylinders (using radius).
The final 10 are cylind
A stand-alone lesson giving your students a chance to practise drawing bar charts, or this could be used (as I did) as a follow-up to a lesson investigating friction.

A worksheet in PDF and editable Word format including a table of results for a friction experiment. Students must work out some missing averages and draw a bar chart of the experiment. There's a checklist of what to include on the bar chart.
A PowerPoint file with the objective and differentiated outcomes
