PAWSitive Learning Zone

Students can pratice comparing and ordering real numbers individually or as a class using the same cards for a vartiety of activites. Five activity suggestions have been provided to use with the fraction, decimal, percent, and scientific notation cards. You may choose to use the whole deck or select the ones that best fit your students needs!

Students will sort ten different negative exponent sets looking for and identifying patterns as they do so. Cards are in groups of four in the document that can also be used as an answer key! Also, included is a recording sheet for students to fill in as they put together each set of four cards. This can be used as a follow-up study guide for students to use! Enjoy!

Word Problems: Solve and Design- a fun, inactive way for your students to practice solving single-step word problems during the winter holiday season. Students will solve 9 single-step word problems (3 differentiated versions included). As they complete each problem they will check their answer (self-check). If students get the correct answer they will add a "yes" element to their own gingerbread house. If students get the incorrect answer, they will highlight their mistake and add a "oops"
