I was a middle school teacher for 8 years and have been in elementary ever since! Regardless of what grade, subject, or school I am at, I just LOVE teaching! Word Problems: Solve and Design
Word Problems: Solve and Design- a fun, inactive way for your students to practice solving single-step word problems during the winter holiday season. Students will solve 9 single-step word problems (3 differentiated versions included). As they complete each problem they will check their answer (self-check). If students get the correct answer they will add a "yes" element to their own gingerbread house. If students get the incorrect answer, they will highlight their mistake and add a "oops"
