I have taught middle schoolers and elementary-aged students for twenty-two years. I've worked in urban, suburban, and rural schools. My master's degree is in Math and Science Curriculum and Instruction. I hold an elementary license and a secondary science license. After retirement, I went back and earned a degree in school counseling and am working part-time in that role.

This fun and engaging project helps students review geometric term, gives them practice in planning, measuring, and constructing geometric shapes. There are three parts: a link to a website where students practice constructing their names on a geo board, construction of their name on dot paper (rough draft), and final copy on 12" x 18" construction paper.

My own education history

I earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Botany, an M.A. in Math and Science Curriculum and I have a few credits in a doctoral program. I also have a Master's degree in School Counseling.
