About the store
My name is Jessica Vryonides, founder of Peak Potential, a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), the author of the children’s book 'My Feelings Forecast', and a mom of two. With nearly 15 years of experience, my career has been defined by a deep commitment to the families and students I serve. My journey began long before my BCBA certification in 2019, spanning over a decade of hands-on work in diverse clinical settings and busy classrooms. This extensive history provides me with a practical and grounded understanding of how behavioural supports function in real-world, natural environments—not just in a textbook. I am passionate about making emotional learning relatable and empowering. I founded my practice to offer a different path: one that shifts the focus away from seeking simple compliance and toward building genuine safety, resilience, and emotional regulation. By blending clinical expertise with a 'heart-first' approach, I help kids and their families navigate their unique journeys with confidence and connection. I believe that when we give children the right 'Strategy Umbrella,' we empower them to navigate any storm with confidence.

Experience

My name is Jessica Vryonides, founder of Peak Potential, a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), the author of the children’s book 'My Feelings Forecast', and a mom of two. I believe that when we give children the right 'Strategy Umbrella,' we empower them to navigate any storm with confidence.

Teaching style

My approach is rooted in the belief that emotional regulation and life skills are nurtured through connection, not enforced through compliance. I specialize in creating visual, evidence-based tools that empower children to understand their own needs and advocate for themselves. Every resource I create follows a scaffolded framework designed to meet students where they are developmentally: • Visual-First Design: I prioritize clear icons and intuitive layouts to remove barriers for emerging readers and students who are feeling overwhelmed. • Skill-Based Learning: My tools shift the focus from 'following rules' to 'building skills,' helping children recognize their internal signals and choose the right tool for the moment. • Tiered Support: Resources are thoughtfully tiered—from co-regulation supports for Kindergarten to independent agency tools for Grade 5—ensuring every student in the classroom is supported. Whether I am helping a student navigate their 'Internal Weather' or master a new daily routine, my goal is to provide practical, 'heart-first' supports that build genuine resilience and confidence in the classroom and at home.

Awards & shining teacher moments

A true highlight of my career was the publication of my children’s book, 'My Feelings Forecast'. I wrote it to provide a common language for families and educators to navigate big emotions with compassion. Seeing these evidence-based concepts come to life in the hands of a child is what drives everything I do.

Additional biographical information

Beyond my clinical work, I am the author of the children’s book 'My Feelings Forecast', which serves as the foundational inspiration for many of the resources you’ll find here in my store. My work is deeply influenced by my dual perspective as a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) and a mother of two. This allows me to create tools that are not only scientifically sound but also 'playground tested' for real-world effectiveness in busy homes and classrooms. When I’m not supporting families or designing new resources, I’m usually exploring the outdoors with my children—always keeping an eye on the local weather, both outside and in.
