This handout has students practice finding both positive and negative numbers on a horizontal number line. Students practice converting from decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals, then plotting them on the number line. This is also a great way to check for understanding after teaching students to plot negative fractions and decimals on a number line. Answer key is included.
This worksheet is great for composing and decomposing three digit numbers using place value blocks. This has the same formatting as my other products like it, but this time I included some word problems to practice reading numbers, then decomposing and composing them. It's a great way to transition from practice to application.
This worksheet gives students the formulas to find the area of triangles, quadrilaterals, and other polygons. It goes along with the 6th grade math standard 6.G.1.
This was created to help my 1st grade practice their adding fluency as well as understanding place value of ones and tens. The adding is only adding up to 20. One side is formatted to be like 12 + 2 = 10 + 4. The other side is vertical addition with place value blocks for help.
This is a great quiz to give students who just covered dividing fractions and modeling measurement and partitive fraction division. This goes well with Eureka Math 6th Grade Module 2, Lessons 1-8. It is multiple choice so an easy resource to grade or upload to programs like Mastery Connect!
There are multiple versions of this assignment. Some are more simple than others. In all versions, students have to plot ordered pairs and draw half a heart. They then reflect that half of a heart over the y-axis. This teaches them about reflecting over an axis and lines of symmetry. This is a great graphing review for students to do in February! Students can color the hearts, to make this a fun coloring page to celebrate Valentine's Day!
This worksheet goes along with learning about positive and negative numbers, graphing in all 4 quadrants, finding the distance of line segments, finding the perimeter of a shape on a graph, and finding the area of a shape on a graph. Answer key included.
This lesson combines standards 6.NS.6-8. The worksheet has students practice plotting on a horizontal and vertical number line using what they have learned about rational numbers with distance and money. The first problem gives them a scale for the number line and directions to move on the number line. They have to create a realistic word problem that goes along with what they graphed. The second problem has them think about a balance in a savings account and how it moves when you deposit or wit
This set includes 3 different levels of multiplying decimals: regular, modified, and advanced. This allows students at different levels to all have the opportunity to practice and understand the skill. It also includes an answer key for each leveled worksheet.
This is a great review of percentage and multi-step word problems, as well as how to identify and write equations from word problems. This reviews 6.RP.3c as well as 6.EE.2c
This review sheet has 6 problems that helps students practice their knowledge of all operations with decimals, including decimal word problems. Answer key is included.
