This worksheet is great for composing and decomposing three digit numbers using place value blocks.

I created this resource to help my 6th graders understand how to use operations with decimals in real life. The problems are based off a real event (softball tournament) so it's absolutely applicable to life! This activities ties in 6.NS.3 as well as reviews how to write equations, in preparations for 6.EE.7 (new Utah math standards). This handout has students practice finding both positive and negative numbers on a horizontal number line. Students practice converting from decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals, then plotting them on the number line. This is also a great way to check for understanding after teaching students to plot negative fractions and decimals on a number line. Answer key is included.

This worksheet is great for composing and decomposing three digit numbers using place value blocks. This has the same formatting as my other products like it, but this time I included some word problems to practice reading numbers, then decomposing and composing them. It's a great way to transition from practice to application.

There are 2 version of this assignment. The first version is easier than the second. Students have to plot ordered pairs and draw a Happy New Year party hat. The second version is the same as the first, but the students also have to draw a topper on the hat, so it is a little harder. Dividing multi-digit dividends by single and multi-digit divisors.

This was created to help my 1st grade practice their adding fluency as well as understanding place value of ones and tens. The adding is only adding up to 20. One side is formatted to be like 12 + 2 = 10 + 4. The other side is vertical addition with place value blocks for help.

This is a great quiz to give students who just covered dividing fractions and modeling measurement and partitive fraction division. This goes well with Eureka Math 6th Grade Module 2, Lessons 1-8. It is multiple choice so an easy resource to grade or upload to programs like Mastery Connect!

There are multiple versions of this assignment. Some are more simple than others. In all versions, students have to plot ordered pairs and draw half a heart. They then reflect that half of a heart over the y-axis. This teaches them about reflecting over an axis and lines of symmetry. This is a great graphing review for students to do in February!
