A larger 11X17 size poster for Writer's Workshop includes a writing checklist for basic writing, editing, and revising. Students check to see if they start with a capital, leave a finger space, read and reread to see if it sounds right and makes sense, end with punctuation, add words with a caret, circle words that are spelled wrong, cross off unwanted text, and use transition words. Also available is a mini-version of this checklist for students printed on writing paper.

Here is a simple cut and tape number line I made to attach to my classroom tables. The numbers are from 1-120, fives are in green, tens are in blue.
