A great way for student to familiarise themselves with the calendar, weather, emotions. Students can complete the calendar independently as a part of a morning routine. Print and laminate (using a whiteboard maker) OR print onto paper and create a 'My Calendar' booklet. Enjoy :)

First day back of the school term. Sick of the 'write about your holidays' task? Use this holiday recount cube to get students talking about the things they enjoyed about school holidays. Students fill out their answers, decorate the net, construct the cube and hang in the classroom. A creative and informative way to get children talking about their holidays!

Students become familiar with the language involved in statistics and probability. Use the coloured whole class lesson to sort situations into categories (certain, likely, unlikely and impossible). Students can then do the task independently with the black and white worksheet. Use the language posters to brainstorm a variety of situations that are certain/ likely / unlikely or impossible.
