I’ve been teaching in Ontario for over 25 years, working primarily in junior grades with a focus on integrated, project-based learning. My background spans literacy, science, technology, and social studies, and I specialize in designing interdisciplinary units that connect curriculum expectations to real-world issues. In addition to teaching full time, I work in education consulting, supporting innovation and technology integration across classrooms. Teaching style

My classroom is built around inquiry, creativity, and collaboration. I believe students learn best when they are actively constructing knowledge through hands-on exploration, problem solving, and reflection. I create classroom environments where curiosity drives learning, mistakes are part of the process, and every student feels a sense of belonging.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’ve led numerous classroom and board-wide initiatives in STEM, AI literacy, and project-based learning. My classroom has been featured for its Girls Who Game program and Minecraft Education projects, which empower students — especially girls — to develop confidence and leadership through design and coding.
