A differentiated sequencing book report with rubrics for three different ability levels: drawing pictures, writing complete sentences, and writing a simple paragraph. This would make a great project to start the fall season and review sequencing a story.

This Word document is a single homework sheet that allows you to personalize with spelling, vocab, and/or high frequency words and activities that fit your individual classroom. It contains a daily spot for a book that has been read and parent initials, so it can serve as your reading log and parent communication sheet. This is a simple version of my differentiated homework sheets that correlate to the Journeys second grade lessons.

Looking for a way to differentiate your weekly homework? I send these sheets home on Friday and collect them the following Friday. There are three different spelling lists, and some minor variations in the assignments. This set also includes a character analysis and word search form to copy on the back of the homework sheets.

It has a variety of activities that students can choose to do using their spelling words. I put a copy of this form in a pocket protector in a 3 prong folder and then my students use this as their spelling folder throughout the year.
