I used this with great success last year. I have students use this Thought Tracker as a bookmark. Each day, after reading, I have students make an entry on their Thought Tracker. Some days I ask them to write about characters, setting, conflict, etc. Some days I ask them to make a prediction. Some days I may ask them to just jot down some of their thoughts.
