Students choose between two letters for the correct one based on the letter name. The first sound will play automatically, but students/staff will have to click on the second, larger speaker to hear the letter name. Great as a center, independent practice, or assessment!
Counting the number of words in a sentence helps readers develop the “concept of word” skills needed to become proficient readers. This activity will increase students’ phonological awareness by having them count words in a sentence. Counting the number of words in a sentence, helps them develop/practice sentence segmentation.

This is not designed for emergent readers to be able to read th
