Jumping Beans a fun and interactive way to practice letters and numbers with little learners. In my classroom we use this while we are working with Creative Curriculum as a small group. Once students have become comfortable with the game they are able to play it in their choice time. This game is great because it can be differentiated based on the needs of the class. Students all sit in a circle and the beans are placed in a cup, bowl, container, etc. Students take a card and share what they ha

Tree study is such a fun unit of study in the classroom. When I start a new study from Creative Curriculum, changing the whole classroom to match the study helps students to get excited and involved in the lessons. These activities are great for small group, whole group, morning work, or center time activities. These are so low prep and quick they make for great morning work as the students enter and get settled into the day. Each activity has a description to provide some lesson and use ideas.
