About the store
I am currently 29 years old. This is my ninth year teaching high school mathematics. I have taught a little bit of everything (Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Pre-AP Algebra 2, AP Calculus BC, MATH 150). This year I primarily teach Pre-AP Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, and AP Statistics. I have enjoyed all my courses, but I have really fallen in love with these. I have taught in Spain for a short time before returning to the states. I graduated from Western Kentucky University. I have also earned a Master's Degree in Mathematics.

ACT Test Prep - Fast Five Practice
This product can be used for Warm-up/Bellringer, ACT Prep, and/ or individual assignments. The Fast Fives are intended to be timed and help students prepare for the ACT. The questions stem from ACT released questions. Each question comes from a different portion of the test (i.e.#1 is from the first 12 questions, #2 from 13-25, ... #5 from 48 -60) so that each fast five should be comparable to the progression of difficulty on the ACT Math section. ACT Formula Sheet
This product is a great resource for any high school mathematics classrooms. ACT preparation is so important to students and teachers. I have been tutoring students for ten years for the ACT. From all the released items I have been able to look through, these are the formulas students have been expected to use/recall that aren't given in a question stem. There is a sheet for students to use/study and I included a sheet that could be given as a quiz.

Teaching style
I want to inspire kids to love math, and I enjoy incorporating fun games and activities into a subject that is mostly a sit and lecture environment. I don't achieve fun and exciting every day, but I try. I would love to help others try. My undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University focussed on problem based units and really teaching kids to think not just to do.
