My teaching style is rooted in diversified instruction. I know that no two students are the same, so I employ a variety of strategies to cater to diverse learners. I often incorporate the Marzano methodology, especially when it comes to goal-setting, checking for understanding, and helping students track their progress.
I strongly believe in modeling — not just how to read or write, but also how to be open-minded, respectful, and reflective. I smile a lot, admit when I’m wrong, and try to create a classroom where students feel seen and heard. I communicate often with parents, not just when something goes wrong, but also to share successes.
At the end of the day, my goal is to meet each student as an individual, providing them with patience, structure, and support tailored to their needs.
