Practicality

I use this sheet in my classroom to help my students reflect after they have misbehaved. I have the students reflect on the incident. Afterwards we talk about the problem and why they should not behave in that manner. At the very end you will notice it asks for the parent/guardian signature which serves as a way to inform the parents of the misbehavior.

The Figurative Language Finder is meant to be filled out by students as they read any fiction text. This document has helped my students become aware of what they are reading and search for figurative language as they read.

I use this graphic organizer to teach the basics about writing a paragraph. I have found that using the hamburger analogy really helps students remember the order.
