This ready-to-go presentation discusses the importance of infusing core vocabulary into daily activities at school and at home. During this session, participants will learn what core vocabulary is, why it is important, the benefits for AAC users, and strategies for implementing core. This session is designed to be 45 minutes to an hour in length and to be presented by a Speech-Language Pathologist.

My own education history
Char and Jenn received their SLP degrees from the University of North Dakota and Jess from the University of Alberta. Combined we have a good understanding of the training and clinical practices in both countries.
Additional biographical information
With all of us being parents, we have gained a new perspective on speech and language development. Watching our own children grow and learn has been both fulfilling as parents and has also added to our knowledge and skills as S-LPs in the school setting.
