Primary Lessons

This is a lesson plan introducing 1st/2nd grade, 1st/2nd class, KS 1/2 to 2-D shapes (square, rectangle, triangle, circle). Through use of interactive acitivities and games, children will be enabled to identify, list characteristics, sort, compare and constrast different 2-D shapes. This lesson also includes the use of tangrams as a fun way to use shapes.
