Google Slides Kindergarten Syllables Practice
This google slides activity helps your students practice syllables. Dividing words into parts, or "chunks" helps speed the process of decoding. Help students read words more accurately and fluently. Understanding syllables can also help students learn to spell words correctly. This activity comes with a link to a video about syllables and a game for practice. It also includes an answer sheet to check their answers when they are done.

I have a facilitator model teaching style and tend to focus on activities. I emphasize student-centered learning, there is much more responsibility placed on the students to take the initiative for meeting the demands of various learning tasks. I like inquiry and play based learning. The more engaged the kids are the more they learn.
