Poems for the school year. Great for grade one. Highlight high frequency words and reread for fluency.

Kindness activities for students to complete at school and at home. Cross off each activity and try to complete them all. We put completed Bingo Cards in a draw for a prize at the end of February. Spread joy, promote good citizenship and the good feels of kindness!

Assessments are broken into 25 words each to use throughout the year. Just highlight the words they can read and write the score at the bottom. Send home as a formative assessment several weeks before report cards to keep parents informed and as a guide of what words they need to practice.

Thanksgiving writing paper. Talk about all the things you are thankful for. Make a list on chartpaper and talk about inventive spelling and stretching out the words so they can write down the letter sounds they hear. Draw a picture in the box of what they are thankful for. I used this in first grade and in Kindergarten. Happy Thanksgiving!

Playing number bingo is a fun way to practice number recognition. Have fun with your class. Give prizes of themed erasers or a candy for a BINGO and for following along.

Engage in comparing and representing daily and seasonal changes of natural phenomena through observing, measuring, sequencing, and recording.

Organize your library by placing a big rainbow boho number label on a book bin and a matching little rainbow boho number on each book that belongs in that bin. So easy for kids to return books to where they belong. You can also assign each student a number and use these labels on the kids book shopping bins, lockers and mailboxes. Numbered 1-30. Enjoy!

Cute Valentine's day gift! A Little Reader to read and color. On chart paper list all the things they love. Give them their own I love book to finish the sentence using the words on the chart paper. They will love reading these to their friends and family. High engagment and a great way to build fluency. Happy Valentine's Day!
