This is a PowerPoint Game called Beat the Clock. Students race to read their slide before the slide changes to the next slide. This practices fluency and sight word/phrase reading. Instructions for changing the slide speed is included. I use this as a game in my room for fluency practice. Students form two lines. The two students at the front of the line start the game. The person that gets the farthest on the slide before it changes gets to sit on rug, other student has to go to back of line.
