Experience
I've been teaching Spanish for 17 years, often as the only teacher in my high school! This means I've taught all levels, Spanish 1, 2, 3, 4, and AP. I've been blessed to go on trips with my students to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Spain.
Teaching style
I love to teach in the target language as much as possible and to get my students moving and active! I strive to foster a place of curiosity where students observe first and make their own connections as we go. Locura de marzo is one of my favorite things of the year and I usually make it last so long, we call it locura de primavera!
Awards & shining teacher moments
I've been nominated as Teacher of the Year in my district.
