This game of Jeopardy is a great present tense review. It covers AR, ER, IR, irregular stem changing, and irregular yo changing verbs. I group students and have groups rotate and choose a category. If the group of students who has chosen the category gets it wrong (they write it on a whiteboard and say it to me), then the next group who has the correct answer gets the point.

To celebrate Shakira's birthday, I've decided to do a "mes de Shakira" in my Spanish classes where each day during the month of February, we listen to a song of hers and read the lyrics. I have attached a PDF without any blanks in the lyrics, a PDF with the blanks to be filled in (I did it for basic words and some basic verbs) and a Word doc (the fonts will probably be changed and skewed if you open it with Word and not Google Docs) so that you can have a version that is editable. Depending on t
I made this packet to help out a few of my ESL newcomers who had no English vocabulary. However, this set of centers would be great for any young bilingual/dual-language students. It’s pretty self explanatory and easy to use. The sections are divided up and ready to be laminated and cut. Then, students need to find the matching piece/picture/word and put it together. I have my students say both words in English and in Spanish, which are color-coded according to the Gomez and Gomez model (blue fo

There are some fun videos to watch too. This ca
This is a great little game for Spanish literacy centers. It includes 24 inferencing game cards and a game board. Students read the game cards and infer what they are about, matching the card to the spot on the game board. Easy peasy!

3 graphic organizers to use when talking about story elements and breaking down plot events. The second graphic organizer can be used as a pre-write where students draw pictures of what happened before writing them, or it can be used to differentiate for students who still struggle to write.
