Parent Letter for Multiplication Standards
This is a letter that I send out prior to my math unit on multiplication. It explains how students will learn multiplication through arrays, equal groups, and repeated addition. The letter also shows parents the strategies we use so they may support their child at home. All standards and expectations are based on the common core standards.

Experience
This is now my 4th year teaching. I have been teaching third grade for 2 years and taught 4th grade prior to that.
Teaching style
I love to make learning fun. I dedicate MANY countless hours to this profession. My weekends consist of searching and creating fun activities and lessons for the kids!
My own education history
I obtained my undergraduate degree in economics and management. I worked in an accounting field for a couple of years which I didn't feel suited me. I decided to get a masters in elementary education and become a teacher. I now do what I love!
