Students use this document in the class to write down their strengths and weaknesses. Inform the students to use this document during work time to write down the concepts they have mastered and the concepts they may need further intervention on. At the end of the week, students and teacher will conference together on their strengths and weaknesses.

I used this document in my class on a daily basis... You would need to go to Wal Mart and purchase the color stickers $1.88 for 400 stickers. My students are at risk students who have never passed a standardized test. I learn that by monitoring the students progress by using this data sheet and others my students passed the standardized test and made tremendous gains on every section. Teaching style

I am a very visual person. I love teaching using real world applications. My greatest contribution to education has been altering the attitude of students that are petrified and disengaged in math. It’s a daily struggle to encourage the students to become risk takers when it comes to learning math. When the students enter into my classroom with the “detestation of math” in their hearts and minds, I quickly turn my class room into a risk-free environment and nurturing atmosphere. I have the power to change a child’s life forever by providing them with the motivation and quality instruction needed to be competent in math .
