This counting collection recording sheet includes an extension that asks learners to estimate, combine, and round the number of items. Students can select 2 collections, estimate the number in each collection, the number of items in both collections, count the items, record the counting strategy, then round the actual number of items to the nearest ten and or hundred. Try this out to guide your kids through some deep mathematical thinking!
