Principles of Democracy
This product provides an introduction into the definitions and examples of the seven core principles of American Democracy, including a task to demonstrate understanding of the principles. Students are tasked with creating an original illustration of a superhero that exemplifies one of the principles, paired with a 1-page (at least) graphic story of their superhero demonstrating action to stand for their principle and show their superpower.

Experience

Teaching style
I feel the IB program closely aligns with the Facilitator, or activity, style of teaching, promoting self-learning and helping students develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that leads to self-actualization. This style encourages students to ask questions and helps develop skills to find answers and solutions through exploration.
