I began my teaching career in France as an English teaching assistant after graduating from Florida State University with a B.A. in Art History and a focus on French and Museum Education. I became a French teacher in Florida after returning to the States where I continued to teach French for a decade. I taught grades 6-12 from beginning levels of French to the Advanced Placement level. I am currently in my third year of being the Gifted Learning Lead for my school, which has a large population of gifted and academically talented students. I also teach as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance).

Week in Review Reflection (Meta-Analysis)

This is a useful tool for students to start to see patterns in their own lives as it relates to weekly behaviors. Experience

I began my teaching career in France as an English teaching assistant after graduating from Florida State University with a B.A. in Art History and a focus on French and Museum Education. Teaching style

My current curriculum centers around curiosity, creativity, and compassion. I believe in teaching the whole child with an emphasis on the latest neuroscience to inform how information is presented to students as well as using neuroscience to explain and then leverage the incredible phenomenon of neuroplasticity. I encourage students to take care of themselves through a multi-dimensional wellness model as well as understanding their own habits and reflexive behavior to build systems where they can better manage their energy.
