I teach fourth graders. One of my classes is a co-teach classroom. I love it, but my co-teacher is not there for the full class time. I needed to find a way for students to handle their emotions when the co-teacher was not there to help me. I loved the idea of a “Calm Basket.” But, that didn’t serve my needs.
