I used this product with my 2nd graders to fill in the blanks with their own rhymes. I then displayed it on a bulletin board for Read Across America!!! Included are 4 pages from various Dr. Seuss stories.

This product is editable. You may switch out the genre labels and the colors. I printed all mine out, cut and laminated together with the last page on top, "Comprehension Skills & Strategies" I then hung it on my door, got clothes pins with students numbers/names and they use as their exit ticket after reading... Similar to LLI running record comprehension questions. I always feel that my students have difficulty with the wording of the running record questions. I have been practicing with them these questions so they better understand the language and how to answer these questions successfully.
