Trig Functions "Checkpoints" Self-Grading Canvas Quiz/Assignment Formula Qs

These self-grading "checkpoints" will test your student's ability to solve for the missing side or angle on a right triangle using sine, cosine, and tangent. These are Canvas quizzes, but I use them as adaptive practice. I set them to "unlimited attempts" and have students try again and again until they are successfully able to get 100% on each assignment (using the completion requirements feature on Canvas). Students can practice over and over as many times as they would like without me needing

Scalars & Vectors Checkpoint Canvas Self-Graded Assignment/Quiz

This learning "checkpoint" covers the concepts of scalars and vectors. Questions are designed to ensure that students understand the difference between the two scientific concepts to prepare them for future physics concepts. They are also asked to differentiate between distance and displacement. Questions are multiple selected responses, drop down, and fill in the blank. They include fun visuals to help students understand. I recommend replacing my name in the questions (Mrs. Ready) with your ow

I recommend turning on completion requ

About the store

Experience

I have been teaching science, social science, and business at the high school level since 2012. I am also a sales and economics instructor at the junior college level. I have taught primarily in person, but since the COVID pandemic have also taken on a permanently online class as well.

Teaching style

I am a huge proponent of mastery-based learning. I want my students to actually understand what they are supposed to be learning! I believe in allowing students to do, and redo until they get it! Most of my assignments are designed with this purpose in mind.
