About the store
Working as an SLP for 8 years, and being in and out of schools in a variety of roles for the past 12, I've seen some good, some bad, and a whole lot of ugly. Upholding professional standards is a priority; it infiltrates every aspect of our practice. Searching for materials to help me stay on top of my responsibilities was a challenge. I always wanted to find good assessment tools, data logs, treatment notes, attendance trackers, and some extra print and go activities. Why was this so hard? So many things were (a) too cumbersome to maintain and/or (b) covered in cutesy clip art and fonts. Neither were acceptable. Treatment logs need to be accessible, fast, and have dedicated space for necessary information (schools can use SOAP notes, too!). Just as important, they need to look professional. These are student records, and I would never be caught dead handing over a session note covered in comic sans or something equally nauseating (get outta my face with your clip art). So what did I do? I made them myself. I shared them around with friends and coworkers, and now I'm sharing with you, because I want us all to be remarkable therapists.
