I use these kid friendly rubrics to have students peer revise and edit. The categories are based on the Common Core Writing Standards for 3rd grade. I put them in sheet protectors and students use them throughout the entire year. The colors and pictures are linked with the Step Up To Writing program. I hope you find them valuable!

Teaching style

Hey fellow teachers, I've decided to start a TPT store to share some of my resources. I've been teaching third grade for 6 years. Teaching in one grade level for 6 years truly is amazing; it allows the teacher to predict miscoptions, analyze mistakes, memorize the standards and really engage students through rigorous tasks and thinking. I'm passionate about increasing rigor in the classrooms in order to meet the rigor of the Common Core Standards, and life! Thus, I've decided to share some things that I use and hope you find them valuable as well! Rachel
