I love teaching in a way that feels creative and hands-on. Kids learn best when they're actually doing things that matter to them, things that connect with what they care about and where they are developmentally. In my classroom, we don’t just sit and listen—there’s music, movement, art, and all sorts of chances to explore. I want my students to feel welcome and comfortable, like they belong and can try anything.
I mix in visuals, movement, and sensory play to reach every kind of learner, especially those who need to move or express themselves in creative ways. I’m a big believer in learning together—kids get so much out of talking, working in groups, and figuring things out with a little guidance. I focus on the whole child, not just test scores or worksheets. Social-emotional growth, confidence, and curiosity matter just as much as academics.
Honestly, I just want learning to feel joyful. Whether we’re doing a themed reading corner, a math lesson that gets everyone moving, or a craft that builds fine motor skills, my real goal is to get kids excited. I want them to love learning, not just for now, but for life.
