About the store
Hi! I’m Robin, or as Grandma would call me Robbie, the person behind Robbie’s Resources. I’m from Illinois, and I’m all in on becoming an elementary teacher. I love mixing creativity, learning, and child development into everything I make. My store is all about hands-on activities that keep kids interested and actually help them grow. I focus on preschool and primary grades, building resources that spark curiosity, build fine motor skills, and lay the groundwork for reading and math. I always try to bring in playful themes and seasonal twists—because let’s face it, kids learn best when they’re having fun. Every resource in my store is made for both teachers and students. I keep things easy to prep, bright and inviting, and always tied to standards like the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards or Common Core. I want to make teaching a little lighter for you, and help kids discover that learning can be exciting and full of purpose. Whether your class is working on a cut-and-paste scarecrow, a turkey feather counting game, or matching shapes with pumpkin pies, I’m here to help you turn your classroom into a place where curiosity and confidence grow together. Thanks for checking out Robbie’s Resources. I’m really glad you’re here. Let’s make learning fun, vibrant, and full of heart!

Teaching style

I love teaching in a way that feels creative and hands-on. Kids learn best when they're actually doing things that matter to them, things that connect with what they care about and where they are developmentally. In my classroom, we don’t just sit and listen—there’s music, movement, art, and all sorts of chances to explore. I want my students to feel welcome and comfortable, like they belong and can try anything. I mix in visuals, movement, and sensory play to reach every kind of learner, especially those who need to move or express themselves in creative ways. I’m a big believer in learning together—kids get so much out of talking, working in groups, and figuring things out with a little guidance. I focus on the whole child, not just test scores or worksheets. Social-emotional growth, confidence, and curiosity matter just as much as academics. Honestly, I just want learning to feel joyful. Whether we’re doing a themed reading corner, a math lesson that gets everyone moving, or a craft that builds fine motor skills, my real goal is to get kids excited. I want them to love learning, not just for now, but for life.
