I hang them in my kindergarten classroom and refer to them as needed to remind students of characteristic of readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians. ** note: there are 4 total posters and 8 total pages. Each poster has a blank page after it.

This is a center activity that will help students sharpen their fine motor skills and number sense skills at the same time. All you need to do is add pipe cleaners and provide beads for them to string on to the pipe cleaner. I reinforce my pipe cleaners with tape or hot glue on the back of the mat.

This is a list of words that I teach to my Kindergarten students. I base it on the Treasures Reading Series and the Dolch Word List. These pertain particularly to Florida. My kids learn many of these words and it gives them a great foundation!
