Creating a Social Studies Museum in the Classroom
My students worked for one semester creating projects to display in our classroom museum. We designated a day in May for our museum to be open to the public. Displays included triangular Venn-Diagrams to compare/contrast topics such as Native American tribes, sports, Civil War leaders and battles, a kiosk of festivals in Mississippi, Native American villages, God's eyes, acrostics, bio-bottle buddies of famous Mississippians, Mississippi multi-media maps, twisted raffia rope, a handmade quilt to

I have 13 years teaching experience in a K-4 school, primarily in 4th grade.
