Experience

All my life, I have known I was going to be a teacher - no questions asked. At 16, I began working at a preschool and taught there for 8 years until I got my degree in K-5 education. Teaching style

Let's be honest...both teachers and students enjoy school so much more when the activities are actually fun! I can either drive myself crazy trying to get a room full of learners to do typical boring worksheets or I .provide them with activities and lessons that they really want to participate in. I love the feeling when I tell students "time's up!" for literacy and math stations and I get 26 faces just begging me for 5 more minutes of fun and learning. It's a great feeling to know that I can really instill a lifetime love of learning into each one of my kids and that they actually look forward to each day of school.
